Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2025-26 Categories & Eligibility Criteria
1. Agniveer (General Duty)
- Education: 10th pass with at least 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
- Age Limit: 17½ – 21 years
2. Agniveer (Technical)
- Education: 12th pass in Science (PCM & English) with 50% aggregate marks and 40% in each subject.
- Alternative Qualification: 10th pass with 50% aggregate marks and a two-year ITI/Diploma in relevant fields.
- Age Limit: 17½ – 21 years
3. Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical)
- Education: 12th pass in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject.
- Mandatory Subjects: English and Mathematics/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12th with at least 50% marks.
- Age Limit: 17½ – 21 years
4. Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass & 8th Pass)
- Education:
- 10th Pass: No aggregate percentage required, but 33% marks in each subject are mandatory.
- 8th Pass: Same as above.
- Age Limit: 17½ – 21 years

Selection Process for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2025-26
The selection process consists of two phases:
Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)
- Objective Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ)-based online exam.
- Languages Available: English, Hindi, and 11 regional languages.
- Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: Full marks
- Unattempted Question: No marks deducted
- Negative Marking: None
- Typing Test: Required for Agniveer Clerk/SKT candidates (30 words per minute in English).
Phase 2: Recruitment Rally & Medical Test
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Criteria:
- 1.6 Km Run: Must be completed within 6 minutes 15 seconds.
- Pull-ups: Minimum 6 pull-ups required.
- Zig-Zag Balance & 9 Feet Ditch: Must qualify.
- Adaptability Test: Required for final selection.
- Medical Examination: Conducted at the rally site.
