Eligibility Criteria
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Must have passed Class XII from a recognized board/institution.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute (wpm) on a computer (equivalent to 10,500 key depressions per hour).
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) with 8 years of regular service or Skilled Contingency Staff with 12 years of service are eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (50 years for APST candidates).
Driver
- Must have passed Class X/ITI or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
- Contingency Skilled Driver with 10 years of service or Handyman with 6 years of regular service are eligible.
- Age Limit: No age limit specified (eligibility determined by departments).
Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages:
For LDC & JSA
Stage 1: Written Examination (200 Marks, 2 Hours)
- General Awareness: 50 marks
- General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: 50 marks
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: 50 marks
- English Language & Comprehension: 50 marks
Stage 2: Typing Skill Test
- Typing Speed Test (35 wpm) on a computer (qualifying in nature).
For Driver
Stage 1: Written Examination (200 Marks, 2 Hours)

- General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: 25 marks
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: 25 marks

Stage 2: Driving Test
- Candidates must pass a Driving Test and produce a valid Driving License.

Application Fee
- ₹150 for APST candidates
